Ohhhh yes, Tech City London now has the world’s fastest mobile network with 4G speeds of up to 300 mbps.
The boost by operator EE should spread to the rest of the capital next year in he latest round of battles with rivals such as O2 and Vodaphone.
The new speeds are partly due to a partnership with Chinese firm Huawei, meanwhile data usage is predicted to rise by 750 % over the next three years. Customer trials of the 300mbps network will begin in December with offices in Tech City able to access the services. Compatible mobile Wi-Fi units and hand sets from Huawei will follow from next summers.
Olaf Swantee, EE CEO says, “Our analysts predict that data usage will grow significantly over the next three years. Infact, our trend-mapping shows that data usage is set to rise by 750 per cent in that period, as consumers and companies conduct more of their business and lives online.
“The network we are switching on today in Tech City uses the spectrum that we acquired in the Ofcom auction earlier this year, and is the first part of an infrastructure that can meet the true future demands of an increasingly data hungry nation, enabling us to stay one step ahead of the demand.”
It will be really a great step forward in Tech world for now we will have to wait and see how well it goes in tech world. We you need more information related to 4G networks technology, contact us.
