Top 5 Productivity App’s
Weather+ This app is really easy on the eyes. Yes, it takes up a massive 220 megabytes of your precious iPad memory — but with graphics this good, you’ll probably overlook that annoyance. This app is packed full of features including wind-speed, humidity, etc.
This app is just plain beautiful. Everybody needs a calculator, and your iPad didn’t come with one. RetroCalc actually includes multiple calculators, all beautifully rendered in HD graphics — and you can swipe back and forth until you find the one you like. You can even set the background texture, and choose your audio-feedback effects. A must have app! Check it out now.
Ok, so this one is probably an obvious choice. But it’s still one of the best. Designed by Apple, Pages is Apple’s very own word-processor for the iPad. It’s a beautiful app and it takes full advantage of all of the iPad’s features. You have complete control over page layout, fonts, images and more.
Cloud Calendar (Syncs With Google Calendar)
Do you use Google Calendar? I do. Besides Gmail, it’s probably the web-app I use the most. I’ve got my whole life in there. Cloud Calendar is one of those apps that’s not ‘over’ designed. It’s just right. It has an extremely clean layout, excellent use of color — and of course, it syncs with Google Calendar so you don’t have to enter things twice.
Mental Case Flashcards
I memorize a lot. Names, dates, foreign languages, etc. If you need a great memory aid — this is it. The design is excellent, with 3D flashcards and a great ‘flip’ effect. It also syncs with the Mental Case desktop app for Mac, so you can share flashcards between your desktop and your mobile device. Nice!
