Google & Apple saved a Diabetic Patient
KVAL reported a 57-year-old Oregon man was suffering from a diabetic reaction while driving down a local highway. (Video link here.) When Emergency respondents came to the scene and talked to the man, they immediately had language barrier with the Patient. The Diabetic patient only was able to speak Chinese, Fortunately one of the emergency staff jumped to his iPhone for help. He tapped up Google Translate and was able to speak Chinese with the man to figure out his condition and give him the help he needed. Awesome use of technology.
