Google Reader Revamped [Google Plus Added]
Today Google revealed its all new Google Reader with features revamped user interface & added the new Google+ integration. So Now Google Reader users can “+1? things directly from Google Reader & can share it to their Google+ followers. which means that this feature has now replaced the “Share” and “Share with Note” options previously available.
With Google Reader you can subscribe to RSS feeds from any websites that you wish to read content from easily in one place & in one go. Google Reader allow’s you to share what ever you are reading to other popular social networking website’s like Twitter, Facebook , Digg, Delicious, Stumble plus usual Send email to feature. You can Use Tags to separate content accordingly.
There was cry over new Google Reader by the niche community of Google Reader sharing users & almost an entire online population of Iran who wanted the native features “Share” and “Share with Note” which Google has ignored, But obviously Google wanted a complete integration of Google reader with Google+. That community of Google Users have even created a petition to save the old features. This petition is now pushing 10,000 responses.
Google recognized the outcry saying
We hope you’ll like the new Reader (and Google+) as much as we do, but we understand that some of you may not. Retiring Reader’s sharing features wasn’t a decision that we made lightly, but in the end, it helps us focus on fewer areas, and build an even better experience across all of Google
In Any case Google will continue to make changes according to its game plan & Google+ was their primary focus in their revival of Google Reader. The plus point of all the product’s in Google works under one Email ID & while working in one item users can jump into other product relatively easily with powerful sharing features in between its products.
